How Our Team Supports Young People’s Independence
We Have Opened!
At Surepath Homes, we’re excited to announce the launch of our newest supported living service, designed to provide young people aged 16-25 with a safe and supportive environment to develop independent living skills. This service reinforces our commitment to offering high-quality accommodation, personalised support, and meaningful opportunities for young people to build a bright future.
A Place to Grow and Succeed
Our goal to support and empower young people to build stable, independent lives. Our services are rooted in early intervention and holistic support, that fosters resilience and self belief among young people facing challenging circumstances
Key Features of Our Supported Living Service
We have carefully designed our support model to meet the needs of young people in our care. Some of the key features include:
What We Offer
- Life Skills Development: Support to learn budgeting, cooking, and tenancy management to equip young people with the skills they need to sustain long-term independence.
- Mental Health and Well-being Support: Access to therapeutically trained staff to support young people, and access to referral pathways for young people in crisis.
- Employment and Education Pathways: Partnerships with local employers and training providers to help young people access education, vocational training, and employment opportunities.
- 24/7 Support: Because emotions don't just run high nine to five.
How We Support Young People
Our approach ensures every young person gets the support they need.
- Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE): Safe, nurturing settings designed to address trauma and encourage personal growth.
- Integrated Services: Collaboration with local authorities, youth justice teams, and charities to ensure comprehensive support tailored to each young person’s situation.
- Youth Advocacy: Ensuring young people have a voice in their (care) support plans and are actively involved in decisions that affect their lives.
- Community Engagement: Building connections with local communities to reduce stigma and create inclusive opportunities for young people to thrive.
Working Together for a Brighter Future
We work in partnership with local authorities, social workers, and youth support organisations. By working together, we can provide the best possible support for young people in need.
