Deputy Children's Home Manager
Are you looking for a new challenge? Surepath Homes are opening their first children's home in Sheffield and are seeking a full time Deputy Manager to support the operational running of the home.
You will lead by example, ensuring high-quality care, safeguarding, and operational excellence.

- Assist the Registered Manager with day-to-day operations and compliance.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff members.
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding and welfare.
- Contribute to care planning and progress reviews for each young person.
- Oversee rota planning and ensure adequate staff cover.
- Manage incidents and emergencies effectively.
- Build positive relationships with Local Authorities, families, and professionals.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a children's home. Of which 12 months must have been in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and children’s legislation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent) required.
